DEVELOPER.

From the humble beginnings of creating Geocities pages for my favorite punk bands in the late 90s to sitting in Sprint Planning meetings discussing a feature which will drive $$$ in e-commerce sales, I've spent most of my life working to build useful and user-friendly frontend web experiences.

AGILIST.

Agile. Much has been made of this idea. What began as a breath of fresh air in the planning and execution of building something new and complex, through measured iterations, has become just kind of a catchphrase.

CREATIVE.

I love good art.

Color theory, behavioral psychology, high and low conceptual theories being made manifest through visual design and representation gets me to geek out.

A work of art is made great when the intentention is thorougly developed.
Establishing meaningful connections with folks beyond the ordinary is what great design, art, architecture, engineering should be doing.

PIRATE.

When I was about 8 years old, I got to go on the Pirates of the Carribean ride in Disneyland. At the gift shop, I got a pirate hat that I wore every day (no exaggeration) for the next year or so. It didn't really occur to me to be embarassed because I was a pirate.
